I have a Velodyne Foundation Series Servo F1500-B subwoofer. I bought it new in 1993. A few weeks ago it started acting strangely with a clacking noise. I found that the surround had cracked (after 30+ years of service) and needed replacing. This kit fixed the problem. It wasn’t perfect, because the new surround did was not an exact match, but it was close enough (subtract one star) and the end result was successful. If you are working on an F1500, I suggest that you start the repair by removing the amplifier plate at the back of the enclosure before you do anything else. The driver is connected via a small PCB which has connectors for the LED and the accelerometer. You need to remove these connectors and then fish the PCB through the rectangular hole between the enclosure and the amplifier plate. Then you can remove the screws holding the driver to the enclosure have the driver free for the repair. Good luck.
