This speaker cable has tight winding of the high purity CCA conductors and durable transparent plastic (insulation). The intention of better quality speaker cable is to give the signal room to breathe so the signal can pass freely through the cable. The outcome is deeper bass, a smoother midrange, cleaner highs and a wider sound stage, giving your speakers the ability to play sound as it was meant to be heard and in some cases the difference in sound when using good quality speaker cable is almost like buying new speakers. Splitter Box The amplifier supplied with this speaker system only allows for up to 4 speakers (2 pairs) to be connected at one time. To make this system compatible with more than 4 speakers, we have included a speaker splitter. By connecting the amplifier to the splitter box, you can distribute the sound to up to 5 sets of stereo speakers (10 speakers in total). You can switch individual sets of stereo speakers on and off and you can use headphones via the 6.35mm output on the front of the splitter box. The splitter we have included in this set can be used with amplifiers outputting up to 100 watts per channel RMS. It also has built-in power overload cut-out to help you avoid causing any damage to the system should you accidentally overload the splitter.
