I bought these as my new Klipsch speakers had the metal plates for jumpers between the two sets of posts for speaker wires. Everything I read said to replace the plates with jumper wires and I'm glad I did. These are thick and of great quality and once installed, made quite a difference in my sound. Mid range came out a bit more and everything sounds more rich and clear. Get rid of those plates folks! Get these if you don't want to spend a ton on higher end models!
