I've been burned on online wire purchases before, where the AWG was nowhere near what it was rated (but it had a nice thick jacket to make you think it was.) This is a bona fide 14ga, and fine strand OFC. Not CCA. It's easy to work with, has sequential foot markings (so you know how long the run was, and how much is left on the spool), and strips easily. The insulation on the wires themselves is fairly hard, but will offer good protection. I had originally picked this spool up to wire just a couple surround speakers, but ended up replacing the wiring to the center and mains with this as well. I'll definitely buy more of this in the future.I just ran the wire through the wall and it was easy with it being on a spool. The wire seems to be good quality but I have not hooked up the speakers yet so I will add another review at that point.Great Wire...easy to wok with. Only 1 issue...the Cardboard Spool Ends will not stay on if the Spool is used with anything less than care. 250' of tangled spaghetti is no fun to deal with on a job site!I used this to power lights on my tractor and in my boat its a good cable and ill get more when I need itI am very pleased with this speaker cable. It is easy to cut the sheathing to start and has a pull string to open the sheathing the length that I need. There is no sticking or hangup as stated with other cables. It was easy to install in walls and ceilings. I would get this speaker wire again.It's as advertised. Speaker wire. Heavy enough to carry the amperage and signal required by the distance to my speakers. Good value.The product arrived on time and was exactly as advertised.Good quality. Only problem is that it is too heavy duty, it is too thick to easily fit in the connectors on the back of the amplifier or speakers. Not the wire's fault but I should have gotten the lighter16 gauge.
